Can you believe September is almost over? Where has this year gone?! I’m pretty excited though because October is my favorite month for a few reasons. 1. Anniversary month (in less than a month, On October 23rd, me and Aaron will hit our one year of marriage mark. CRAZY. It feels like yesterday.) 2. October feels like the fall month. Everything has changed colors by then. It starts getting cold. People start putting pumpkins out on their front porch. It’s just the coziest month. Also, pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, yes please.

Me and Jordynn (my talented and cute little photo takin’ friend) like to joke around with Aaron that we are dating because we see each other so much. We like to hit the town and explore where we live and bring the camera in hopes that we’ll catch a few good snaps. Basically she’s really talented and we always have a good time ( on insta, check her out!).

This week we headed north to explore the historical streets in a little town. I don’t head that far north usually, but wow is it cute! The streets were filled with old shops, exposed brick, and ivy growing everywhere. It felt like a movie set, it was almost too good to be true. I almost got hit by a few cars (don’t jaywalk kids, it’s bad) but as per usual, we had a lot of fun playing tourist.

Side note: I called this post Penny Lane because, for those of you who have seen Almost Famous, I felt like Penny Lane. I also called this post Penny Lane for an obvious reason, which is The Beatles. Why do you ask? Because A. I love them and B. This outfit made me think back to the days when The Beatles basically ruled the world (I obviously didn’t live back then but I sure wish I did.) and how influential they were to music and style. As I have said in previous posts, I love the whole 60s/70s style and how a lot of those trends from back then are making a comeback, especially for fall. If you’re on the hunt for a few new fall pieces to your wardrobe, this henley from Monrow Attire is not only essential to your fall wardrobe because it is perfect for layering but it is also one of the most comfortable pieces of clothing I own. AND these black chelsea boots are needed as well. If you haven’t noticed, their the same as my snakeskin boots I wore in this post and they are literally the only two pairs of shoes I have been wearing as of late. Oops.

Happy Monday! Thanks for reading!

Hi there. Your blog is incredible! I’m wondering where I can find te sweater that criss crosses in the front? The light gray one. I can’t find it in your archives but the Pinterest picture has it. Thanks.

Hi! That was a post from last fall so the sweater is now unavailable but there is a similar style sweater by Free People in my Shop section. It’s burgundy in the photo but it comes in a cream and grey color as well! I hope that helps!
