FINALLY! A new post. Many more (and hopefully some fun changes and spring cleaning to the blog) to come this week. All together now, HOORAY. I would first like to start this post by apologizing to both you guys AND myself for my lack of effort to stay on top of posting. You guys, being a blogger is tough work. I applaud those girls out there making millions by blogging for years and staying committed because I’ll be honest, it’s a lot harder than you make it look. I feel like I am constantly going through these phases, comparing myself to other girls or bloggers, and find myself questioning who I am, what I like, what inspires me, and if any of that is good enough to post about. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t struggling with that lately, because I definitely am, but that’s not a good enough excuse. I love blogging. It makes me happy. It helps me meet people. It inspires me. I just got caught up in the competition of how to be the best and honestly, it shouldn’t be like that. So I’mma do me, son. (Insert embarrassed monkey emjoi for saying that.)

On another note, I’m happy to be blogging again and happy to be sharing some of my favorite style elements and outfits for this spring! You guys know I am all about that casual yet chic style and this outfit fits that description so well. It can easily transfer from day to night and is an outfit that you will feel sexy but so comfortable in all day. I love the colors and print in this shirt. It is so fun, and perfect for summer and spring. I’ve been searching for the perfect tan bag and have had a recent obsession with fringe so when I found this one from Lulu*s I just about died. And these distressed white jeans from James Jeans? My new favorite. White jeans always seem to dress an outfit up in a really cool effortless kind of a way, and the distressed looser fit makes them even more cool. Let’s pause for a sec and talk about all these changes in these pictures.

EXHIBIT A: Colored nails. Especially bright blue, like whaaat? Being a dancer, I don’t get to wear much colors on my fingers due to performances and what not, but now that the season is over, I went wild and kinda dig it.

EXHIBIT B: Not only wearing grey, black, white, or tan. RED? What is this world coming to.

EXHIBIT C: Straight hair? Can I get a round of applause for pushing myself out of my comfort zone?

Here’s to new goals, staying on top of things, pushing ourselves out of our comfort zone, and chasing our dreams.

This is by far one of my favorite comments ever made.Thank you so much! It means a lot to me. I try to let my viewers get to know me as a person rather than just get to know what is in my closet. :) Thanks again for the kind words. xoxo

I am so glad that I stumbled upon your blog! Well one, I love it it’s so cute and I love your photos. And Two, I’m so glad you said that because I too am just starting out and it’s so much work. I constantly have been finding myself doing the same thing. Comparing and then getting frustrated and freaking out about if the blogging life is one for me. It makes me feel so much better that I’m not the only one. And just being you and happy is the best advice so thank you(: Keep doing you because you are adorable and I love your style!
