Well folks, the weather here is getting colder by the second (and then warms right back up about 5 minutes later…MAKE UP YOUR MIND!!!) and I am so excited that today is the first day of Christmas…um, I mean December.

I hope you all enjoyed the holiday and had a great weekend! My weekend was full of card games (black jack, scum, go fish, the WHOLE shebang), baking, football, food and more food, but most importantly family. We spent Thanksgiving at my parents home and had the best time. I always love going home and spending time with my family, especially my little sissy’s. I guess I need to start calling them younger sisters instead of “little” sisters since they are both taller than me now. I swear they love Aaron more than they love me. Understandable though, the accent wins most people over. I either need to pick up on an accent real quick, get better at card games, or cheat (hey, all’s fair in love and war, right?)  Aaron won nearly every card game we played this weekend, and my family STILL loves him. I can’t even tell you what a miracle that is since I come from a competitive family that takes their card games a little too seriously. Anyone have any tips on SCUM or Black Jack? The boy must be beat!

Happy Monday and Happy First Day Of December! Here’s to a great month. Show me what you got December! (Besides presents and too much food.)

Thank you so much for the kind words! This picture was shot at my favorite place, the State Capital. Most of my photos are taken in downtown SLC.
